The renewable energy projects in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Wyoming marks an unprecedented number of utility-scale renewable energy projects in United States.
This week President Obama announced that seven major nationally and regionally significant solar and wind energy projects will be expedited. Together, these projects would produce nearly 5,000 megawatts (MW) of clean energy – enough to power approximately 1.5 million homes and create many jobs for people. The Office of Management and Budget is overseeing the process for infrastructure projects, making projects more efficient and effective, saving time while driving better outcomes for the environment and local communities. These renewable energy projects will create nation’s energy independence, create jobs and power economies from clean and renewable source.
