Earth Hour 2013

WWF’s Earth Hour has already become a global annual tradition dedicated to drawing the world’s attention to the protection of our planet.

People across the world are called to take part in Earth Hour 2013 also known as the biggest switch-off in history.

To show that we care about the future of our planet, each and every one of us is expected to turn off the lights for an hour at 8.30 pm on 23rd March.

Last year 6,950 towns and cities in more than 152 countries took part in this global movement. Every switch-off counts: from a single domestic light bulb to giant illuminations such as Big Ben and the Sydney Opera House – we can demonstrate our determination to help protect the planet.
